I’ve never been a risk taker. I don’t like risks and don’t see the need to change something that isn’t broken. Writing has always been a passion of mine. I’ve never been able to stop writing stories and I found myself on numerous occasions, writing stories throughout the day in the form of notes or simply daydreaming. I love telling stories and creating characters within situations of romance is ideal to me. Romance is another passion of mine. I think there is enough bad stuff in the world that romance is a brilliant way to escape, these are all my own personal opinions. I read to escape my life and writing is another great way of pushing all my emotion into the story.
Part of my daydreaming was thinking how amazing it would be to write full-time. Becoming published was a, WOW, moment for me. I’ll never forget that day and all the times I get a yes through my inbox are a massive achievement to me.
In October 2012, I took a huge leap and decided to give full-time writing a go. I gave myself one year to see if I can live the dream and survive through my writing. I’ll let you know in October 2013 if I can continue writing full-time but at the moment I wanted to give you all an update on my thoughts, and how everything is going.
I never thought writing full-time would be so enjoyable. I was scared, nervous, excited and down right afraid. I’m one of these people who has to make constant lists on the pros and cons of certain decisions. For a good four months before October I spent time discussing my options with my family. They were as always, supportive and caring of what I wanted to do.
What I’ve come to learn, is in life you have to take some risks. I hope there is good news to share with you in October and I look forward to it. Have you ever taken risks in life and in relationships? Tell me about them. This is the biggest risk I’ve ever taken in my life.

Can a sexual proposition lead to love?
After visiting Desire, a popular club run by two sex men, Wendy never expected to gain the attention of the men who own the club. Evan and Drake Peterson are the reason her father rants and raves like he does. She never intends to get involved.
Evan goes after what he wants and he wants Wendy. Her beauty calls to him and all he can think about is possessing her. Drake goes after her promising her the kind of pleasure that could be had at his hands and then Evan proposes something she couldn’t ever turn down. He offers to have all of her desires come true.
But what happens when the sexual fog lifts and the brothers claim to love her? Can Wendy learn what is in her own heart before it is too late?
Also, I’ve been given some good news. The Taking of Clara part 2 will be releasing this Friday with Secret Cravings Publishing and here is the lovely cover art.
