I can’t believe I’ve got the amazing, USA Today Best Selling author, Jamie Begley on my blog. Her series, The Last Riders, is utterly amazing and I’m completely addicted. Jamie has also offered a free e-book copy of Shade’s Fall to one lucky person, simply leave a comment on this post. So, without waiting any more, I give you the woman herself, *fans self*.
Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s lovely to have you here today.
Please tell is about yourself.
I have travelled around the United States but I missed Kentucky so that is where I settled to raise my two children. Both graduate this May from a University which I am very proud of. I love to cook, and read whenever I get the chance, which isn’t often anymore. I have a large family and we enjoy spending time together.
Sam: I adore your stories and it’s always a pleasure learning more about you :-)
Do you write full time?
I do now. When I started writing I worked a fulltime job working over seventy hours a week and wrote part-time. In January I was fortunate enough to be able to begin writing full time.
Sam: Thank you so much. I need your stories all the time. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve read The Last Riders.
What got you started writing?
The love of reading. It wasn’t until I had my children did I feel the drive to write. I started writing, never expecting anyone to read my stories but myself. The first book I actually completed and submitted was rejected from a publisher. Thankfully I kept writing and my daughter convinced me to try again.
Sam: I, and many others, thank your daughter.
What words would best describe your books?
That’s a hard one for me. I think they would best be described as love stories. I believe that not all relationships have to fit into a particular mold. Erotic, suspenseful, and humorous all seem to fit as well.
Sam: When it comes to your books all I can think is awesome lol.
What are you working on now?
Currently, I am finishing up Soul Of A Woman (The Dark Souls, #2). You will be the first to know that after I finish I will be writing Evie’s story.
Sam: Squeal, I can’t wait.
Tell us about your book here.
Shade’s Fall is about a biker who is the enforcer for The Last Rider’s. He see’s Lily when she is to young for him. He waits and watches over her until a tragedy occurs and he refuses to wait any longer. This is their story of overcoming fears, and discovering emotions that neither expected to feel and in the process find a love that can heal both of them.
Sam: A highly recommended book for all to read.
Three to five interesting facts about yourself or your writing. This can be your series, characters or even down to what you do in your down time.
The Last Rider’s wasn’t planned, I was originally going to put Beth with a tattoo artist, Razer stole her. Beth’s character is actually based on an acquaintance of mine, and yes she is that nice. I did not plan on Sex Piston and her crew, they came about unexpectedly. Lily’s character was based on a friendship I had as a child and she moved away unexpectedly. I originally only planned on doing five books, now I don’t see a end in sight, I plan on doing all the original members, a couple on the Predators, and even a few on the women in the club.
I’m posting the information for Shade’s Fall. Awesome book, awesome series, and one I highly recommend.
Shade is everything Lily doesn’t want in a man. He’s rude, obnoxious and he’s definitely not a cowboy. The tattooed enforcer for The Last Riders is a mystery Lily doesn’t want to solve. He’s too much for her to handle, especially with the nightmares from her past constantly threatening her sanity.
Lily is everything Shade wants in a woman. She’s sweet, kind and submissive. When she discovers the truth about The Last Riders, it threatens to tear apart every relationship within the club. Her rebellion causes the predatory instincts to rise in the ex Navy SEAL sniper.
When The Last Riders are threatened by another motorcycle club just as determined to claim Lily, Shade is her only hope of surviving the approaching confrontation. Could their passion be Shade’s downfall?
This work of fiction is intended for mature audiences only. All sexually active characters portrayed in this ebook are eighteen years of age or older. Please do not buy if strong sexual situations, multiple partners, violence, drugs, child abuse, domestic discipline, and explicit language offends you.
Now, I’m a big Jamie Begley fan and this next part has me squealing. Look what is coming out next: King (The VIP Room 3).
My good intentions always led to disaster. The cold hard truth is that I was never meant to be a father to Lily. Staying in Treepoint, Kentucky for a few weeks to get to know my daughter was meant to be a time of discovery, instead I find out that she’s married to a killer and living in a sex club. I’m going to find out how to destroy The Last Riders and give Lily the future she deserves.
He thinks I’m a whore; he doesn’t know me. I’m nobody’s fool, but he thinks he’s going to use me to find The Last Riders only weakness. That’s his biggest mistake of all. There’s more to me than meets the eye. King thinks he’s too good for me, that I’m less than dirt in his eyes. What the King of Queen City is going to find out too late is that I’m his judge, and I hold his life in my hands.
